Hiding wheels Coffee kiosk

( description )

This project reimagines a wheel canteen as an architectural intervention within the courtyard of an office tower in Panormou Square. The primary design challenge was to seamlessly integrate the canteen into its surroundings, concealing its mobile nature while creating a visually engaging, functional space. The result is a unique structure that blurs the lines between permanence and mobility, harmonizing with the urban landscape.

The main elevation is defined by a self-supporting oblique structure that precisely follows the shape of the caravan. This geometric form is clad in wooden planks, extending onto the platform to create continuity. A striking black square volume punctuates the facade, protruding outward to serve as a service station, reinforcing the kiosk’s functional identity.
On the side elevation, the structure subtly reveals the form of the caravan. Horizontal metal tubes form a climbing plant fence, allowing greenery to integrate with the kiosk, echoing the overgrown surroundings. This natural element softens the industrial geometry, balancing urbanity with organic growth.
