Fillis House-Luxury Apartments

( description )

Located in the idyllic village of Vourvourou, in the heart of Sithonia, Halkidiki, Fillis House offers an intimate boutique experience in two luxurious villas. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and pristine beaches, the property embodies the charm of the region while offering a modern twist on traditional architectural elements. The design reflects the timeless character of Halkidiki, where stone-built structures with red-tiled roofs and timbered ceilings are reinterpreted to create a serene and elegant environment for relaxation.

The design of the two villas seamlessly integrates with the natural environment. Constructed using stone from the local quarry of Lakkoma, the villas maintain an authentic connection to the land. The private gardens extend the outdoor living experience, blending the structures with the surrounding landscape. The architecture preserves the integrity of the location, using raised volumes and minimalist forms to create spaces that feel organic and harmonious.
An essential concept of the design is the idea of “unfurnished” spaces, where the functions of the villa are embodied in the architecture itself. From the bed and nightstands to the sofa and kitchen, all elements are shaped by the raised concrete volumes, eliminating the need for traditional furniture. The use of micro-cement across surfaces ensures a flowing, continuous space, enhancing the sense of unity and tranquility throughout.
