Following the successful completion of an apartment in the Limmat Tower in Zurich, our studio was commissioned to design and construct an aesthetic medical center within the same building.
The client’s brief called for a space that embodies cleanliness, elegance and understated luxury. In response, we adopted a minimalistic material palette and pursued a synthetically coherent spatial language that emphasizes continuity and calm.
A central design element is the three-meter-long monolithic reception desk, sculpted from corian in a fluid, organic curve. This gesture not only welcomes visitors but sets the tone for the interior experience -edges are softened or eliminated entirely, replaced by curves that define the walls, the custom metal structure behind the reception, the built-in sofa and integrated storage.
Each treatment room is conceived as an autonomous volume, yet all share the same monolithic approach and adhere to a cohesive color palette. The seamless transitions between floors and walls create a sense of serenity and purity throughout, while carefully placed metallic golden accents lend a refined character to the space.
