A new fish market, the second in a row for the brand “Psaras”, with a heavy tradition  of three generations in town, is constructed in the heart of the Vatikioti market, the old food market of Thessaloniki.

The modernistic character of the construction and the sharply defined lines of the space highlight the unique character of the family business, that although it counts more than 40 years in the sea, it seeks renovation and interaction with the present, with respect to tradition and the historicity of the region.

Our goal was the conflation of old and new, with an architectural imprint of our studio’s philosophy and aesthetics.
